⭐Margot’s Playground Tour – June 14th, 2025

Yesterday was a full-on Boulder playground adventure. We packed snacks, water, and all our monster voices, then hit the road to explore as many parks as we could before dinner. Here's how the day played out, straight from the expert herself—Margot, age 5, fearless climber and playground connoisseur. 🌿 Greenleaf Park Rating: 3 out of 5 Our day began at Greenleaf Park. It’s got a pretty minimal setup—just a basic play structure and a swingset—but Margot discovered a cozy little “home” underneath the platform. That quickly became the base for our monster game (I was the monster, of course). Not the flashiest spot, but she made the most of it. 🌳 Emma Gomez Martinez Park Rating: 10 out of 5 (Margot math!) This one took Margot by surprise. The trees and little stream running alongside the playground made it feel like a hidden world. “Everything here is plastic,” she noted, but that didn’t stop her from falling in love with the place. Accessing the stream took some creative climbing, bu...

Playground Tour: June 8, 2025 🌳🎠

🌟   VALMONT BIKE PARK Rating: 5/5 Valmont was the absolute favorite of the day. Margot was  all in  for the climbing gym and couldn’t get enough of the spinning toys. And wow — this girl can spin  forever . Dizzy? Never heard of her. We had to peel her away when it was time to go. Pure playground bliss. 🌿  MEADOW GLEN PARK Rating: 1/5 This one was… not a hit. There’s a slide, some swings, and a tiny clubhouse, but not much else to explore or climb on. Margot gave it a quick try and was ready to move on almost immediately. A peaceful park, but not much for a playground adventurer. 🌳  KEEWAYDIN MEADOWS PARK Rating: 5/5 A hidden gem! Margot loved the huge trees and especially noticed the neat rubber flooring — stamped with  maple leaves , which felt a little funny since all the real trees nearby are oaks. Still, it’s the  details  that stand out. The swings here were  super tall , and Margot got to fly like the wind. Big win. 🏀...

Our Big Bike & Park Adventure!  🚲🛝🌼 Hi! I’m  Margot  and on Sunday (that was 5/11/25), me and my dad went on the  bestest adventure ever —we rode around  Boulder on his bike  (I got to ride on the back like a queen 👑) and we stopped at  SEVEN PARKS ! SEVEN!! My legs weren’t even tired, but my  giggle tank  was full. Here’s what I think: 🛝 East Palo Park It has  brand new stuff ! Climby things, bouncy things, and soft squishy sand. I could’ve stayed forever.  5 outta 5 giggles . 🐾 Crestview Park Lots of parks all together! The  school one  is the best—there are animal paw prints to find like a treasure hunt. I was a detective with sharp eyes.  5 stars! 🔄 Wonderland Lake Park This one’s for littler kids like me! There’s a  360° tire swing  and I spun around like a silly tornado.  5 wheeees! 🎢 Foothills Park You can climb up to a super slide, ride a big spinny thing (not for food though), and t...
